Death Binder Essentials Online

Death Binder Essentials is a small group workshop that will provide you with the tools, support, and accountability you need to finally check off that "I need to get this done" box! By working together as a cohort over several weeks, you'll be able to transform the mental blocks that keep you from making crucial decisions that will have lasting effects on those you love.

  • Support and tools to get through hard emotions that can get you stuck
  • No-pressure conversations where you can ask the questions you've been wanting to ask
  • Accountability partners to help hold you to your decisions
  • Practice sessions to learn how to have tough conversations (e.g., talking with your parents about their plans)
  • Alternating lecture and lab sessions because sometimes you need more information and other times you just need to set aside time to work on your stuff
  • Will include discussions often not covered by mainstream funeral planning: No kids, no partner, multiple partners, LGBTQIA+, family in multiple countries, etc.

    • Death Literacy
    • Wills/Trusts
    • Final Disposition
    • Advance Directives
    • Techniques for raising difficult topics
    • ...and more

    • January cohort: Tuesdays 7p-9p PST / 10p-12a EST, January 27 – March 31
    • February cohort: Mondays 4p-6p PST / 7p-9p EST, February 23 – May 11
